1st time to Lewiston, arrived at our hotel and could smell the wonderful aroma coming from Mystic Cafe. Went in and we were immediately sat at a table. Lacy was friendly, efficient, and a pleasure to have as our waitress. The interior is so interesting and fun. The FOOD, phenomenal! We had onion rings, then my hubby had the Huckleberry BBQ burger with fries, and I had the local Idaho beef- 16oz Ribeye, with sautéed green beans and mashed potatoes! I could only eat a part and packed up the rest for lunch tomorrow. I'm looking forward to the coffee and pastries in the morning at Mystic Coffee! Do yourself a solid and go visit Mystic Cafe ASAP!

Love eating here. One of my favorite places. I had a Denver omelette and my wife had the lobster Benedict. Both were amazing. Love the old brick and wood building.

My daughter and I went to The Mystic today (02/15/26) for breakfast and Kara was our waitress. The service was outstanding and for as busy as they were, we got seated fairly soon. The food was perfectly cooked and delicious. We had the chicken fried steak, eggs and hash browns. The coffee is the best in town and was the perfect temperature. We also had mimosas (yum!) Kara made sure everything was perfect, kept my coffee coming and made sure everything was exactly what and how we ordered it. Thank you, Kara, for a job well done and my hat off to the cooks for an enjoyable and tasty meal.

I have been wanting to try the mystic cafe for a while and finally had the opportunity. The restaurant is unique and inviting. The waitress was awesome and provided excellent service. Food was perfect and desert was fantastic. I will definitely be back and will recommend it to everyone who hasn’t tried them.

I thought this was a nice place. They do need to get a person to greet you and that’s all they do, they took a while to come greet us. But they were friendly after that and had pretty good food and in the perfect amount of food to wear you can eat it all and not be stuffed. The service was awesome super friendly people. Our server was really nice and took the time to talk to us for a little about her daughter’s volleyball and what we’re are doing the rest of our day. Definitely recommend really nice place.

Service was very friendly! Food came out quickly and was really good! My partner got the burger is very picky and said it was the best burger around. Fries were good as well as the coffee, bacon, sausage, and omelet. The atmosphere is super cute. A bit odd but interesting and adorable! We will definitely be coming back!

Delightful decor inside. The outside hides the unique decor inside. We had breakfast here.... delicious. The Garden Omelet was a perfect blend of flavors and I added feta cheese. SO GOOD. Our waiter was very pleasant and invited us back in the evening to enjoy the Friday night live band. We have visited Lewiston many times over the years and sorry we did not know of this restaurant before. Prices were very reasonable. This also has a nice coffee bar available from another entrance. Very worth a visit.

Stopped in for lunch on a Friday. Very busy. Worth the wait. You can entertain yourself by looking at all the unique decor. Stuffed animals, wrought iron gates etc. I am gluten free, so ordered the bleu burger w/o the bun and had flour less chocolate cake to die for! My friend also had a burger with the most beautiful garden salad! Highly recommend.

I wanted to say today's (3/22) lunch at Mystic Cafe was the outing I needed. It's always the perfect atmosphere to meet up with a friend and catch up on things. The vanilla cardamom was tasty and humongous. 😋 I'm a huge bacon and scrambled eggs person and both are so tasty here. The bacon wasn't thin and flimsy or overly greasy. The scrambled eggs weren't too moist nor dry either. This has been my second time getting this plate and it is definitely reassuring to know the texture will be the same, speaking as an autistic person. Our server Mikey was so friendly and warm but it seems like everyone working there is always outgoing and personable. Sunshine was our server last time and again super friendly and warm. I'm always blown away by their service. ✨

Mystic Café is one of my favorite coffee shops in Lewiston because it actually feels like an independent local place instead of another polished corporate chain. The atmosphere is probably the biggest reason. There’s artwork everywhere, interesting decorations on the walls, multiple seating levels, and enough little details around the café that you keep noticing new things even after several visits. One thing I’ve always enjoyed is the live music. On certain Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights they’ll have musicians or bands performing, and there’s even a piano inside the café. I’ve seen a pretty wide mix of local performers over the years, and it gives the whole place a fun creative energy that’s hard to fake. As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series, I spend a lot of time writing in coffee shops while traveling, and places with actual personality always stand out more to me than perfectly polished modern cafés. The layout is fun too because the café opens up more the farther you wander inside. Different seating areas, upper sections, little corners to sit in. It feels bigger than it first looks from outside. The food and coffee have always been excellent, and the staff has consistently been super friendly and welcoming. Their hours have shifted around a bit over the years, so it’s worth double-checking before heading over. Funny enough, creative coffee shops and music venues like this probably influenced parts of the atmosphere in the Paris Nights Romance Series more than I consciously realized while writing. Definitely one of the more unique coffee shops in the LC Valley and the kind of place where it’s easy to stay longer than you planned.
